The Power of Denial
It's a bit easier to understand why biblical literalists are so convinced there's a wealth of scientific evidence for creationism once you understand they also believe a rush of best-selling books debunking religion -- The God Delusion, The End of Faith, Letter to a Christian Nation, and God is Not Great -- are proof they have skeptics on the run.
