Grant Money Was a Factor in Tenure Denial

Okay, RSR has been on the road. Admittedly we've been out of touch and we're still catching up. So forgive us if this is old news, but The Des Moines Register reported June 1 that ID activist Guillermo Gonzalez brought in only $22,661 in outside grant money since 2001.

In contrast, Gonzalez's peers in physics and astronomy secured an average of $1.3 million by the time they were granted tenure, according to The Des Moines Register.

Perhaps his failure to secure grant money played a larger role in his rejection for tenure than his loony ideas about intelligent design.
