Dodos at the Sternberg

"Flock of Dodos: The Evolution-Intelligent Design Circus" will be shown at Sternberg Museum in Hays, Kansas on Thursday, April 12. The event is sponsored by the Fort Hays State University Science and Math Center and Sigma Xi of FHSU.

Nothing could be more appropriate than showing the film in one of the nation's premier natural history museums. The rich fossil history of Kansas is on full display at the Sternberg Museum.

Many of the fossils are from the period of history when Kansas was covered by a great inland ocean. In those days Kansas was the habitat of one of the most fearsome predators to ever to swim the planet's oceans -- the mosasaur -- instead of the stalking ground of assorted creation "scientists" and intelligent design "theorists."

In those days, Kansas actually was under water. Today, it just seems like it.
