Sean Carroll at Duquesne for Darwin Day

Students and faculty at Duquesne University will celebrate Darwin Day with talk by Sean Carroll, a professor of Molecular Biology and Genetics and an investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of Wisconsin. He's the author of The Making of the Fittest (2006, W.W. Norton) and Endless Forms Most Beautiful: The New Science of Evo Devo.

RSR loves Endless Forms. It's a lucid explanation -- even an English major like Red State Rabble can understand it -- of the discoveries made in Evo Devo -- a field that took off after RSR took his last college biology class in 1969.

You can find out all about Darwin Day, the international celebration of science and humanity, at Duquesne University here.
