Kansas Board Moves Quickly on New Commissioner
Melodee Hall Blobaum of The Kansas City Star reports that the new moderate majority on the Kansas school board won't waste any time hiring a new education commissioner to replace Bob "Heckuva Job" Corkins.
According to Blobaum, the board is set to hire the National Association of State Boards of Education to conduct a search for candidates to fill the job.
We may finally get someone who's competent, has credentials in education, and experience. Qualifications, what a concept!
