Fighting Back
The Christian Science Monitor reports that the growing influence of Christian fundamentalists in government has led some nontheists to fight back.
The CSM article quotes Lori Lipman Brown, director of the Secular Coalition for America, as saying, "I have absolutely no problem with anyone believing differently than I believe, as long as they don't impose their religion on me or my government."
RSR believes that the grab for power by fundamentalists is the primary motivation behind the push back by secular types such as RSR. What might just unite a powerful coalition -- the many varieties of believer and nonbeliever alike -- to fight back against the theocrats is the fact that we're all opposed to letting others impose their religious views on us.
