Wishful Thinking
Don Pitman, a retired linguist and Bible translator, is really impressed by the scientific research that supports young earth creationism.
Pitman was one of 700 souls who packed the Criswell Center at the First Baptist Church of Dallas' last Saturday for "Thousands ... Not Billions," a rally put on by the California-based Institute for Creation Research.
"I think the research that has been done is top-notch, very professional," says Pitman. "It really supports what the Bible says, that God is the creator and all of this didn't just come from nothing."
