Easterbrook Inducted into reDiscovery Hall of Fame
The reDiscovery Institute has inducted science writer Gregg Easterbrook into its prestigious Intelligent Design Hall of Fame. Easterbrook has been a contributing editor at Newsweek and U.S. News & World Report. A senior editor of The New Republic and a contributing editor for Atlantic Monthly and Washington Monthly. His entry into reDiscovery's ID Hall of Fame was based on Easterbrook's keen grasp of the nature of science, such as this from the Aug. 8 Wall Street Journal:
"Intelligent design is a sophisticated theory now being argued out in the nation's top universities... The intelligent design theory may or may not be correct, but it's a rich, absorbing hypothesis--the sort of thing that is fascinating to debate, and might get students excited about biology class to boot."
