Ohio School Board Race Heating Up
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Tom Sawyer, former Akron mayor and 16-year congressman, is seriously considering running for the Ohio State Board of Education seat now held by ID advocate Deborah Owens Fink. Sawyer, a Democrat, told the Plain Dealer he's been asked to run by the Ohio scientific community.
