Think Tank Blues

Robert Crowther, who contributes to the Discovery Institute's Evolution News and Views blog, has his panties in a twist over Science magazine identifying the Discovery Institute as a "creationist think tank." Our old friend BF, a regular reader here at RSR, sent us a note about it, and we thought we'd pass it along:

It appears that Science correctly identified the Discovery Institute as a "creationist think tank" probably using Dembski's explanatory filter along with Behe's Walks-Like-a-Duck-O-Meter.

Crowther, who hasn't yet figured out what he wants to do when he grows up, is outraged that anyone could possibly misrepresent the Discovery Institute as a "think tank."

I would have to agree with Crowther on this one. Not a whole lot of thinking going on at Discovery, but they sure are in the tank.

Science magazine replied something to the effect of "nanny nanny booboo, yo mama's so fat it took God a whole 'nother day jus' to create her."

Stung by that caustic, but accurate, rebuttal, Crowther retreated backto the Discovery Institute, the world's leading creationist think tank, to sulk.
