Missouri "Critical Analysis" Bill Dies in Legislature
The Missouri Science Education Act, HB 1266, which was backed by right-wing Christians who hoped to use tax dollars and public school science classes to discredit the theory of evolution by requiring instructors to spend at least half their time pointing out perceived flaws in the theory is dead, according to Kit Wagar and Tim Hoover, the Jefferson City correspondents to the Kansas City Star.
