“We are excited to offer these classes on the science of evolution as a ministry to the community,” says Rev. Thom Belote, minister at Shawnee Mission Unitarian Universalist Church.

“We hear a lot about evolution in the news, but most of us haven’t taken a biology class in 10, 20, or even 50 years. Whether you area high school student getting ready for a test or someone who could use are fresher, this class will help you be more informed about evolution.

"The classes will give an overview of the theory of evolution, paying special attention to the evidence on which evolutionary science is based.
