Will the next Monkey Trial be in Ohio?

Jan, 3, at 7:00 p.m. in Strosacker Auditorium at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. The event is free and open to the public:

Kenneth R. Miller, professor of biology at Brown University, author of the high school biology textbook Biology: The Living Science, and a witness in the recent court case over intelligent design in Dover, PA.

William Dembski, the Carl F.H. Henry Professor of Science and Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, and senior fellow with the Discovery Institute.

Organizers of the event have received word that Professor Dembski may not be able to attend. If he does not, Professor Miller will speak on the lack of scientific evidence for intelligent design, and the implications of the recent Dover "Panda Trial" in Pennsylvania for Ohio's biology curriculum.

The Ohio Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Jan. 10 to decide whether it should comply with the Dover decision.
