There's a Place for ID (But Not in Science)

The Ohio School Board may reconsider today a policy that opens the door to ID. Current policy says "students should be able to describe how scientists today continue to investigate and critically analyze aspects of evolutionary theory."

An editorial in The Lantern, the student voice at Ohio State University, urges the board to change this policy:
There are places for the discussion of intelligent design in high school, but one of them is not the biology class; the philosophy class and the civics class are more proper forums. Evolutionary theory is supported by a wide majority of scientists, and any debate is almost invariably a ideological or political one.
