School Board member Kathy Martin sits in judgement of science at hearings in Topeka last May that scientists and educators characterized as a kangaroo court.

In the Dover intelligent design case, Judge Jones ruled that intelligent design isn't science. Kathy Martin, an ardent supporter of creationism and intelligent design, doesn't agree.

“It has its roots in science,” Martin said. “I don’t think he even knows. How can a judge know science? He’s not a scientist.”

Consistency, apparently, isn't Martin's strong point.
