Ohio Action Alert -- Update -- Urgent
New board member Eric Okerson says he is planning to put forward a motion to delete Ohio's illegal creationist benchmark and lesson plan, according to our souce in Ohio.
But he is coming under heavy pressure from the creationist board members such as President Sue Westendorf, who is telling people she doesn't care if the state gets sued.
Ohio Citizens for Science is asking supporters of science to call or write Mr. Okerson ASAP (as soon as you're done reading this) to express your enthusiasm for his willingness to stand up to creationists who are trying to use Ohio's classrooms to convert other peoples' children to their religion.
