Intelligent Design, Kansas Science Education, and the Law

Eric Rothschild, lead plaintiff attorney in the Dover intelligent design case, and Steve Harvey, an attorney on the plaintiff's team, will speak on the Dover case on Saturday, January 28, from 1-5 pm at Dole Center for Politics in the Simons Media Room, in Lawrence, Kansas.

Jack Krebs, president of Kansas Citizens for Science, will speak on how the Dover case will impact Kansas.

Here's the complete schedule of events:

1:15 - 1:45: Eric Rothschild, lead Dover lawyer, on the general situation with ID and creationism in general and the law

1:45 - 2:15: Steve Harvey, Dover lawyer, on the Dover case

2:15 - 2:45: Jack Krebs, on how the issues of the Dover case apply to Kansas

2:45 - 3:00: Break, light refreshments, gather question cards from audience

3: - 4:30: Panel discussion, with the three speakers plus Steve Case and Eugenie Scott as moderator.

4:30 - 5:00: News media interviews and individual discussions
