Pity Party
In a letter to the Hutchinson News, Jim Menze, Executive Director of the United School Administrators of Kansas responds to Kansas State School Board Chair Steve Abrams on the new science standards:
Board chairman Steve Abrams wrote a poorly articulated defense of the State Board of Education's revised science standards (Nov. 15 Hutchinson News: "Critics fail to read context of science standards").
After his personal pity party - "critics go into attack mode" - he then turns to attack school superintendents. First he claims that superintendents "don't care" about following the new standards. Then, in a bizarrely unrelated claim, he says superintendents promote pornography in public schools.Disgraceful. A blatant lie.
