National Science Teachers Association on Kansas ID Vote

"To the dismay of many, the Kansas State Board of Education adopted science standards on November 8 that contain serious errors and misleading statements regarding the theory of evolution. Disregarding the concerns expressed by many leading scientific and education organizations—including NSTA, the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)—the Board voted 6-4 to adopt the standards."
