Done Deal
The Kansas State Board of Election, as expected, voted 6-4 today to approve revised standards that, according the the National Academy of Sciences and National Science Teachers Association will weaken science education in the state.
"This is a sad day. We're becoming a laughingstock of not only the nation, but of the world, and I hate that," said board member Janet Waugh, a Kansas City Democrat.
