Bob Corkins, Come On Down!
The price, apparently, was right. The Kansas State Board of Education, by a vote of 6-4, made it official this morning, Bob Corkins is the new Commissioner of Eduation. The fiscal conservative who made a career out of opposition to school funding will take home an annual salary of $140,000 plus benefits.
In the end, we suspect, the price may prove too high for some Kansas.
