ID: Calling it what it is
Peter Lanza, a school board member in the Northwest area school district in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, says he'll vote the way he thinks residents feel, and his feeling at the moment is most people would support intelligent design - though the name might complicate the issue.
"My feeling, right along, is that, you know, we should be calling it what it is," said Lanza, explaining his problem with the terminology. "What they're talking about, I assume, is God. And I have no problem with that."
