Tulsa Zoo: Creationism Display Reversal in the Works?
The Tulsa Parks and Recreation Board will revisit it's decision to allow a creationist exhibit at the Tulsa Zoo. The vote is expected to come in a meeting scheduled for tonight at 8:30 pm. Word is, the board may reverse its June 7 decision.
Board Chairman Walt Helmerich has indicated that quoting the Bible verses verbatim -- as proposed by creationism advocate Dan Hicks -- may be too lengthy for the exhibit.
