Blue Valley School Board Candidates Who Support Creationism Intelligent Design
Three candidates for Blue Valley School Board have indicated they would support the teaching of creationism and intelligent design in public schools. Those candidates are Dan French, Maynard Ahner, and Charley Morasch.
Dan French said during the primary, "he would not be opposed to having some discussion of the Intelligent Design theory." (Kansas City Star: "Candidates differ on novel policy and science" by Jill Sederstrom, Feb. 23.)
Maynard Ahner, who also signed the book banners petition, said he would support teaching intelligent design if the the state school board decides to include it. (Kansas City Star: "Views differ on novels, science" by Jill Sederstrom, March 19.)
Charley Moarsch "thinks science should be an open system that explores all evidence. He believes both evolution and intelligent design should be taught in the science classroom." (Kansas City Star: "Distinct views on school district" by Jill Sederstrom, March 16.)
Fortunately Blue Valley voters have a choice, three candidates: Steve Klika, Brad Wagner, and Sue Matson all support teaching REAL science in public schools. They all deserve your support.
