UA's Evolution Series to be Broadcast

The University of Arizona's popular public lecture series on evolution will be broadcast this summer on television. The lectures start this week, on a Monday and Sunday broadcast schedule on the UA Channel, Cox 19 and Comcast 76 for those who live in the Tucson area.

Podcasts of the lectures will be made available to the rest of us here. (All the details of the podcast are not yet ironed out, so it may be a few days before you can access them.)

The lectures cover biological evolution, the Big Bang and cosmic evolution, the Earth's formation, social evolution, animal evolution, human evolution and DNA, and disease evolution illustrated by HIV.
