Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is
If you're mad as hell about what the religious right is doing to Kansas education, and you've made up your mind you're not going to take it anymore, then you need to get active in support of moderate candidates. You need to vote, and you absolutely must put your money where your mouth is.
The Kansas Alliance for Education is a non-partisan Political Action Committee. KAE, is focused solely on the five state board races this year. Please visit their website see what they have to say, note the people who have stepped forward to advise the group and then make a contribution.
Ask all your friends and family to do the same. Your contribution does not need to be large, even a contribution of just $25-$50 will make a huge difference in this important work. If we all stand together to support the KAE financially and vote in the August Primary we can return the state board to its traditional base.
