The Hutchinson News reports (no link, they want $2.95 to read the article) that M.T. Liggett of Mullinville, known for wind sculptures such as the ones pictured above, has announced he is entering the race for the Kansas Board of Education seat now held Ken Willard. Liggetti s seeking the Republican nomination.

No word about where Liggett would come down on the contentious issues that have divided the right-wing majority from the moderate minority on the board, such as intelligent design, sex education, censorship, charter schools, vouchers...

So, here's the challenge for Red State Rabble readers: study the photo of Liggett's wind sculpture, above, and send us your prediction of which faction on the board, wingnut or moderate, would welcome Liggett with open arms if he were to be elected.
